SUNSENSE sunscreens have been specially formulated to protect all types of skin from the sun’s potentially harmful rays. Unfortunately, sun damage is cumulative. Blistering or painful sunburn in childhood and adolescence is associated with an increased risk of skin cancer. Just one blistering sunburn during teenage years contributes to the risk of developing skin cancer later in life. Whether it’s for your skin, your family’s or your child’s - or whether it’s for the beach, the sporting field or just everyday use - SUNSENSE has the ideal sunscreen product for consumers of all types.

01 Challenge When it came to addressing its varying customers and their differing needs online, SUNSENSE identified the need to develop a credible and relevant online presence. Realising that customers and potential customers are understandably cynical of shameless advertising plays, SUNSENSE aimed to develop a presence that was far more than a product display, but a hub for accurate information.

02 Solution Using Carnival Media Group’s experience in functionality design, the site needed to cater for users with limited online experience and an internet connection speed in line with research of the target group. The information focus of education materials called for a site that is easy to digest and encourages the user to delve more deeply into the content when required.

03 Results The developed SUNSENSE website matches the brief perfectly in terms of design, navigation and page layout. The site is also easily identifiable through offline mediums, matching product packaging and in store POS seamlessly.
